We passionately focus on topics near and dear to our hearts, and we are committed to neuroscience-based interventions that prevent or stop harm, heal pain, and change lives. We do this through a concerted effort to integrate leading-edge science into positive, strength-based human development that promotes learning, memory retention, motivation, and habit-forming practice. Five core components of self-regulation—thoughts, feelings, physical reactions, behavior, and outcomes—provide a foundation for integrating health-promoting decisions into daily life.
PS-R training focuses on engaging and motivating participants to enjoy healthy relationships in all life-domains. We teach them how to decrease problem behavior, manage impulsivity, and negotiate. We use Motivational Interviewing to help them optimize health and well-being through self-regulation. Our training foundation involves neuroscience-based multi-sensory activities that enhance effective neuroprocessing, promote understanding of key concepts, and foster life-long skill-building and self-care.
