Brittany Howell-Abbate is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) living in Albuquerque, NM. She has dedicated her career to working with children and families impacted by trauma and adversity and passionately educates others about the widespread impact of trauma. Brittany advocates for her community and works diligently to improve individual outcomes, re-establish positive family interactions, increase healthy decision making, and build protective factors to enhance resilience and motivation for life-long health and well-being.

Brittany has over 13 years’ experience working in community mental health serving as a Director of Clinical Services, Clinical Supervisor, and a trauma-informed therapist.  In her role as Director of Quality Assurance with PS-R, she is thrilled to combine her passion for training with her clinical skills and her drive for excellence in quality standards.  She is incredibly proud of the impact PS-R has on professionals, youth, and families and is eager to see continued growth and expansion.  Brittany dedicates her work to her two children with hope that they will live in a world that promotes care, connection, and safety.
